This presentation will focus on the design of the new HollywoodHUB project currently under construction. HollywoodHUB is a 12-story building that will provide 222 affordable housing units. The building consists of post-tensioned flat slabs with concrete columns and shear wall cores. I will discuss the general design of the project with a specific focus on the impacts to the design caused by the adoption of ACI 318-19.

About the Presenter:
Devon Sullivan, PE is a Project Manager and Associate at KPFF having been with KPFF for 12 years. During that time, their career has focused on concrete design and seismic design. They have also worked on the design of multiple concrete towers that have been constructed in Porland during that time. Devon has been the structural Project Manager and lead structural designer for the HHUB project.
